Jewellery Care
Cleaning your jewellery
Mix a small amount of mild soap with lukewarm water and gently clean your jewellery using a soft toothbrush. Focus on the harder-to-reach areas where dirt can build up.. If needed, rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Avoid rubbing too hard - while PVD gold-plated stainless steel is more durable than traditional plating, excessive force can still dull the surface over time. Avoid chemical cleaners, alcohol wipes, or anything not made for plated jewellery - they can damage the finish.
To restore shine, gently buff with a microfibre or jewellery-specific polishing cloth. This method will help brighten the surface but won't remove scratches or dents.
Storing your jewellery
To keep your jewellery looking fresh, store each piece somewhere dry, cool, and away from direct sunlight. Airtight plastic bags (like ziplocks) work really well - just make sure to squeeze the air out before sealing. This helps slow down tarnishing and keeps the shine locked in.
Try not to leave your jewellery out on wood, in the bathroom, or anywhere it might get damp. And before storing, always take your pieces off if you’ve been sweating, swimming, or using skincare, perfume, or hair products.
Jewellery isn’t made to be worn 24/7 - so give your pieces a breather and rotate through your Parure London collections to keep everything looking its best.
